Habits of sea snakesSea snakes like to inhabit shallow water around islands, some sea snakes like to stay in muddy water at the bottom of sand or mud, and some like to live in coral reefs and other environments. Different species of sea snakes dive at different depths. They can't stay in the water for too long. Generally, they swim to the water once in about half an hour. There are also some deep-water sea snakes, which can dive for about 2-3 hours. Sea snakes are distributed in tropical areas, so they like to grow in warm environment.
