Do goldfish need oxygen or heat

Whether goldfish should be oxygenated or not depends on the density of feeding. If the number of fish in the fish tank is small, then the oxygen in the fish tank is enough for goldfish to absorb, and the breeder does not need to oxygenate them. If there are a large number of fish in the fish tank, more oxygen is needed, and an oxygen pump needs to be installed to ensure sufficient dissolved oxygen in the water. Although oxygen is needed, the time of oxygen is not too long, and it can be used for 2-3 hours a day.
Do goldfish need oxygen or heat 1. Whether goldfish need oxygen

Whether goldfish need oxygen is best determined by the number of fish. Normal feeding density does not need to give them oxygen. Because there is enough oxygen in the fish tank, which can be absorbed by goldfish, breeders do not need to give them oxygen. In addition, many breeders will install filters for goldfish, which can also bring a small amount of oxygen, so when the number of fish is small, it is ok not to use oxygen.

If there are large numbers of fish in the tank, the breeder needs to give them oxygen. Because of the large number of fish, the demand for oxygen will also increase. Although oxygen is needed, it does not need 24 hours of oxygen, and 2-3 hours of oxygen a day is enough.

2. Do goldfish need to be heated

In spring, summer and autumn, goldfish do not need to be heated. Because they are cold water fish, they can live normally as long as the water temperature is between 0-38 ℃. But in winter, the temperature is low, and the temperature in most parts of China will be below 0 ℃ in winter. If breeders don't heat them, they will easily freeze to death. Therefore, after entering winter, breeders need to install heating rods for goldfish to keep the water temperature. If the breeder can move them to a warm room, it is ok not to heat them.
