Guppies are small in size and have low requirements for light. As long as the light is not too strong, they will not be too uncomfortable. Guppies can receive more light in the wild, because their origin is tropical, and they like to live in the upper waters, so they can receive more sunlight.
Guppies also prefer to move in the light, and breeders can give them regular sunshine, so as to ensure their body color and make them stronger. If there is no natural light, you can also install aquarium lamps and turn them on regularly every day, so as to ensure their bright body colors.
2. The requirements of guppies for water temperatureThe requirements of guppies for water temperature are not high, and they can grow in the water temperature between 18-32 ℃. When rearing artificially, as long as the water temperature is kept within this stable range, they can live normally. If breeders want guppies to grow better, they can keep the water temperature between 23-28 ℃. Because in this temperature range, they grow at the best speed and in the best state.
If the water temperature is high or low, they will have loss of appetite, decreased activity and poor physical fitness. If conditions permit, it is best to install a heating rod to keep the water temperature in a stable range.
