After guppy suffers from needle tail disease, breeders need to change their water immediately and keep the water quality clean. There are many drugs suitable for treating guppy needle tail disease, such as oxytetracycline, potassium permanganate, furazolidone, penicillin and so on.

Oxytetracycline is more commonly used, because the side effects of this drug will be less and more common. Breeders can add 1-2 tablets of oxytetracycline to the water in which guppies live, and insist on changing the water for them every day, but the amount of water should not be too large, and the tablets should be supplemented every day. Hold on for about a week, and the condition at the end of the needle can be cured. Potassium permanganate can also be used, and a proper amount of potassium permanganate can be added to the water where guppy lives, and then the sick fish can be put in separately for feeding.
