1. Transfer indoors: If there is no heating rod, breeders want guppies to spend the winter safely. It is best to transfer them to a heated room, because most of the heating will be around 20 ℃ now. When the room temperature reaches 20 ℃, guppies can grow normally and naturally spend the winter safely.

2. Wrap the fish tank: If there is no heating, the breeder can also wrap the fish tank with insulating materials. This can slow down the heat dissipation and avoid the sudden change of temperature causing discomfort. Although wrapping with thermal insulation material can slow down heat dissipation, it can't raise water temperature. Breeders still need to add new hot water regularly to keep the water warm.

1. Change water: After guppy enters winter, its appetite and activity will decrease, and its metabolic speed will also decrease. The frequency of water change by breeders should also be reduced, and water can be changed once a week. If the water quality is not dirty, you can change the water once every two weeks.

2. Feeding: The appetite of guppies will change in winter, so breeders need to change the types of food and reduce the feeding amount. Only in this way can they avoid indigestion or other gastrointestinal diseases.

3. Environment is stable: In winter, the environment is prone to large fluctuations. Breeders need to keep the temperature and quality of their living water stable, so as to avoid discomfort caused by sudden changes in the environment.
