Lion-headed goldfish belongs to cold water fish, and the water temperature can be kept between 22-24 ℃ when cultured artificially. In this temperature range, they grow best and fastest. They can tolerate lower water temperature and grow normally in water temperature above 10 ℃. However, they can't accept higher water temperature.
