Betta can grow into an adult fish in four to eight months. Generally speaking, after the gonads are fully mature, they are adult fish. They develop very quickly, but they also have a short life span. Their gonads can mature in four to eight months, and they may die after two or three years. It takes two or three days for them to reproduce each time, but it takes at least one month for them to reproduce in order to ensure their health. Adult fish reproduce most frequently from March to June. Because they have high requirements for water temperature, generally speaking, the temperature is higher than 26 ℃. Only when the water temperature is above 26 degrees Celsius can they reproduce better and faster. In the natural environment, they breed most from March to June.

Under artificial breeding environment, reproduction can be carried out in any month, as long as the temperature is artificially controlled. For example, in cold winter, you need better quality heating rods and thermometers. If necessary, you can choose two heating rods and two thermometers. They are placed on both sides of the fish tank, which can prevent uneven temperature rise. Using thermometers can effectively prevent sudden temperature changes.
