Betta fish should not be raised together with brocade carp. First of all, their suitable water temperatures are different. Betta fish are tropical fish, so they are suitable for living in water with water temperature of 24-28 ℃. However, brocade carp belongs to cold water fish, which is not suitable for living in water quality environment with water temperature above 25 ℃. Secondly, their size is quite different. Betta is a small fish. Although they are aggressive, they are timid when facing bigger carp than themselves, which is not conducive to their health. Generally speaking, brocade carp may eat betta fish.

Betta is a kind of grumpy fish, which is very aggressive. When two male betta fish are put together, they will fight for each other's territory. But they are small in size, and when they are put together with other fish, they may be eaten. Therefore, it is generally not recommended to mix them with other fish.

Map fish are also aggressive fish, and their territorial awareness is very strong. It is not good for their health to mix with the same aggressive fighting fish, so fighting fish cannot be raised with map fish. At the same time, Arowana is large and can't be mixed with Betta, because Arowana will eat Betta.
