Newborn zebrafish can eat some good shrimp eggs, backwater, cooked egg yolk, paramecium and other foods. Newborn zebrafish are small in size and can eat fewer kinds of food. These foods are small, nutritious and very digestible, making them ideal for small zebrafish. Zebrafish is just born, and its appetite is not large. Breeders need to feed them in small quantities for many times, which can not only ensure their food is sufficient, but also avoid indigestion. It is best for breeders to feed 2-3 times a day. The amount of each feed does not need to be too large, and it can be eaten within 3 minutes.
2. How to raise newborn zebrafish1. Water temperature: Newborn zebrafish has high requirements on the environment, and breeders need to use heating rods to keep the water temperature at 26 ℃. They are sensitive to the change of water temperature, and breeders should control the temperature difference within 2 ℃.
2. Water quality: Zebrafish does not require high water quality, so breeders only need to ensure that the water quality they live in is clean and refreshing. Usually, water can be changed once every 5 days, and the amount of water changed each time is controlled at one third of the total water volume. When changing water, breeders need to control the temperature difference between new water and old water within 1 ℃.
3. Oxygen: Newborn zebrafish need more oxygen, so breeders need to install an oxygen pump to keep enough oxygen in the water.
