Zebrafish can live in a wide range of acceptable temperatures, and they can live in a water temperature between 11-30 ℃. As long as the breeder can ensure that the water temperature in which they live is constant, it will generally not affect their normal development. Although they can grow in high or low water temperatures, the most suitable water temperature for their growth is between 24 and 26 ℃, because in this temperature range, their growth speed and state are relatively good. Although they have strong adaptability to water temperature, they are sensitive to the fluctuation of water temperature, so breeders need to install a heating rod to keep the water temperature in a stable range.
2. Water quality of zebrafishZebrafish does not require high water quality, so they can grow in weak acid, weak base and neutral water. The breeder can keep the PH value between 6.5 and 7.5 and the hardness between 6 and 8. They like fresh and clean water and can change it every 5 days or so without a filter. If a filter is installed, the breeder can change the water every 7 days or so. The amount of water to change them does not need to be too large, and it can be controlled at one third of the total amount of water.
Although zebrafish do not have high requirements for water quality, they are sensitive to the fluctuation of water quality. When changing water, breeders need to adjust the PH value of new water and old water to be consistent, and keep the temperature difference within 2 ℃.
