Arowana grows faster than other fish. As long as the breeder can ensure the stability of water temperature and water quality, Arowana in its infancy can grow about 1-2 cm a month and 15-20 cm a year. If the breeding environment is comfortable and there is plenty of space, they may grow by 30 cm a year.
Although Arowana grows faster, breeders can't just pay attention to their growth speed. Because the growth speed is too fast, it will also lead to their physical deterioration.
2. How can Arowana grow quickly1. Water temperature: Arowana belongs to tropical fish and likes to live in high temperature environment. Moreover, if they grow in a higher water temperature, their metabolism will be faster, and their growth speed will naturally accelerate. Although they can grow in a high temperature environment, the breeder should not raise the water temperature too high. It is best to use a heating rod to keep the water temperature between 28-30 ℃.
2. Water quality: Arowana also has high requirements for water quality, and breeders need to keep the PH value between 6.5 and 7.5. This can ensure that they live more comfortably and speed up their growth.
3. Feeding: Arowana is a carnivorous fish, and they prefer live bait and insect food. Breeders can usually feed them more live bait such as live fish, live shrimp, water fleas and water earthworms, and can also regularly feed some Tenebrio molitor, bread worm, red worm and centipede. At ordinary times, you can also match some lean meat and animal viscera, so as to ensure their adequate and balanced nutrition.
