Arowana may have hemorrhagic disease because of red dots. There are many reasons for Arowana to suffer from hemorrhagic disease, such as low water temperature, poor water quality and bacterial infection. Arowana has high requirements for water temperature, and they like to live in a warm environment. If arowana live in low water temperature for a long time, their body surface will be stimulated and red spots will appear on their bodies.
It is also possible that the water quality is too poor. If the water quality in which arowana live has too much dirt, they will also be stimulated, resulting in red spots on their bodies. It may also be a bacterial infection. When bacteria enter the arowana's body, their body surface will be congested and red spots will appear on their bodies.
2. How to treat red dots on arowanaRed dots on arowana may be hemorrhagic. Breeders need to raise the water temperature above 26 ℃ first, so as to avoid stimulating them with too low water temperature, and keep the water temperature constant, so as to avoid stimulating them again with too large temperature difference. It is best to transfer them to sunny places, which can also help them sterilize and speed up their recovery.
If the hemorrhagic disease is serious, the breeder needs to use 3-5ppm dijunling for treatment. Take a medicated bath once a day for 10-15 minutes each time.
