Therefore, turn off the lights in the fish tank during their rest time. Although they are very aggressive, they also lie motionless at the bottom of the tank when they sleep. They can be illuminated with lights for eight hours every day to add color.

2. Do betta have time to hibernate

Betta has no time to hibernate. Because betta fish are small tropical fish, they can't stand extremely low temperature environment. If they live in extremely low temperatures for a long time, they will die and will not go into hibernation like other fish. Therefore, in general, in order to make them grow healthier, it is necessary to keep the water temperature in the fish tank constant at 26 ℃.

When the temperature is low, they will lie motionless at the bottom of the cylinder and even die. Therefore, in cold winter, it must be artificially warmed up. You can choose a better quality heating rod and thermometer to cooperate with each other, and put a heating rod and thermometer on both sides of the fish tank respectively. It should be noted that the temperature should not change suddenly, and the temperature change should not exceed 2 ℃ every time.
