It is most appropriate to keep the water temperature of map fish at about 22-26 ℃. They belong to tropical fish and like higher water temperature. When raising map fish artificially, you can use a heating rod to keep the water temperature constant. In the comfortable water temperature range, they grow at the best speed and in the best state.
Although map fish belong to tropical fish, their ability to resist cold and high temperature is relatively strong. As long as the breeder can ensure the stability of the environment, they can live normally. Although they have the ability to tolerate low temperature, it is best for breeders not to breed them at low temperature for a long time. Because the water temperature is too low, their appetite and activity will be affected, which will also lead to their physical deterioration.
2. How is it best for map fish to change waterThe frequency of map fish changing water needs to be higher, because they can eat and pull, which seriously pollutes the water quality. Breeders usually need to change water once every 2-3 days, and the amount of water change each time can be controlled at one quarter of the total water quantity. If there is a filter, you can change the water every 3-5 days.
Map fish have low requirements for water quality, and can live in weak acid, weak base and neutral water. When farming artificially, as long as clean and clear tap water is used, their requirements can be met. However, the tap water just received contains chlorine gas, so the breeder needs to expose the tap water to the sun for 2-3 days, so that the chlorine gas can be completely volatilized.
