Parrot fish is a hybrid fish. If breeders want them to reproduce the next generation, they can choose purple red flamingfish, red devil fish, flamingfish, longevity fish, Luohan fish and so on. When they cross with different fish, they produce different offspring. It is more common to cross with red devil fish and purple red flamingfish, because they are interbred from these two kinds of fish. Of course, because the genes are not stable enough, there are many varieties of parrot fish, such as macaw fish, purple parrot fish, red and white parrot fish, flower parrot fish and so on.
2. How do parrots reproduce1. Choose parent fish: As mentioned above, parrots need to cross with other males to reproduce. Breeders need to select suitable parent fish after their estrus and pair them with parrot fish.
2. Prepare the breeding environment: The breeding of parrot fish needs stable water temperature and water quality, and the breeder needs to keep the water temperature at 28 ℃ and the PH value between 5.5 and 7.0.
3. Reproduction: When parrot fish reproduce, the female fish will lay eggs first, and the male fish will fertilize in the center of the eggs. After the fish eggs become fertilized eggs, the breeder needs to fish out all the parent fish to avoid them eating the fish eggs.
4. Hatching: The breeder needs to transfer the fish eggs to the hatching tank and keep the water temperature constant. Wait for 2-3 days, and the eggs can hatch into small fish.
