2. How to raise small koi fish

1. Water temperature: Adult koi fish do not require high water temperature, and they can live at a water temperature between 2-32 ℃. However, the newborn koi is weak, so breeders need to keep the water temperature between 20-25 ℃ to ensure their better survival. Small koi is also sensitive to the change of water temperature, so breeders need to avoid temperature difference as soon as possible.

2. Water quality: Small koi fish likes clean and refreshing water quality, and breeders need to try their best to ensure clean water quality. Try not to change water within one week of their birth to avoid stress reaction. A small amount of water can be changed after one week, and the amount of water should be controlled at one quarter of the total amount of water.

3. Feeding: Newborn koi carp do not need to be fed, because they carry enough vitellotin from their mother for 2-3 days. After 3 days, breeders can feed them with abundant shrimp eggs or cooked egg yolks. After 10 days, they can eat some chopped red worms or peeled bumper shrimp.
