Glazed shrimp is relatively easy to raise. They do not require much food, and can be fed with artificial shrimp or algae when they are cultured. They do not require high water temperature and quality, as long as they are not too cold, too hot, too alkaline, too acidic or too low dissolved oxygen concentration of water, they can survive. They can be mixed with small fish during the non-breeding period, but shrimp nests should be placed when they are mixed.
1. Water temperature: The glazed shrimp likes the water temperature around 25 ℃, and the water temperature needs to be controlled between 23 ℃ and 28 ℃ when raising. They are more sensitive to cold, and if the water temperature is too low, they may grow poorly. In addition, they are more afraid of sudden changes in water temperature, so if you want to adjust the water temperature, you should adjust it slowly, do not add too much cold water or hot water at once.
2. Feeding: When breeding, you can use artificial shrimp food to feed. They can also eat algae, and if there are algae in the tank, they will not starve to death. It is recommended to feed 2-3 times a day, but not too much each time, so as not to leave excess shrimp food in the water to pollute the water quality.
3. Water change: It is not necessary to change water frequently during cultivation, and it is OK to change water about once a month. When changing the water, you don't need to change all the water, about a third of it. This can prevent the sudden change of water temperature after changing water, which will affect them.
