1. Reason: Silver Arowana may not swim at the bottom because of poor water quality, and they have higher requirements for water quality. If the water quality of life changes greatly, their bodies will feel uncomfortable, which will also lead to their sinking and not swimming.
2. Solution: Breeders need to change water immediately to keep the water clean. However, the amount of water change should not be too large, and it should be controlled at one third of the total amount of water. The filter should also be turned on to slow down the deterioration of water quality.
2. The water temperature is too low1. Reason: Silver Arowana does not swim at the bottom because the water temperature is too low. They are tropical fish and like higher water temperature. If the water temperature is too low, they will sink to the bottom and become inactive.
2. Solution: Breeders need to use heating rods to keep the water temperature between 24-28 ℃, and when they adapt to the new water temperature, they will resume their activity.
3. Lack of light1. Reason: Silver Arowana does not swim at the bottom because of lack of sunlight. They all live in the upper layer in the wild and can receive more light. If there is no light when they are raised in captivity, they will sink to the bottom and not swim.
2. Solution: Breeders need to give them additional light, and they need to receive light for about 8 hours a day, so as to avoid the decrease of their activity. If there is no natural light, you can use aquarium lamps.
4. Scared1. Reason: Silver Arowana may be frightened if it doesn't swim at the bottom. Although they are larger, they are less daring. If there is too much noise around the environment where they live, they will be frightened.
2. Solution: Breeders need to keep their surroundings quiet. If they are seriously frightened, they can cover them with black cloth. When they are relieved from their frightened emotions, they will return to their normal state.
