The breeding of anchovies is not restricted by seasons, so long as they live in a comfortable environment, they can breed normally. Anchovies grow up quickly. Under normal circumstances, they will mature about 3 months after birth. Adult anchovies can breed once a month or so, but in order to ensure their physical health, it is best not to let them produce frequently, but to breed 3-4 times a year. If breeders want them to breed, it is best to adjust the water temperature and water quality to a suitable range.

1. Choose parent fish: The reproductive ability of male anchovies is not very strong, so breeders need to choose common male guppies to mate with female fish, so that the ratio of breeding anchovies can be controlled at 1: 1.

2. Mating: Anchovies are reproductive methods of in vivo fertilization and development. After entering the breeding period of anchovies, the anal fins of male fish will be transformed into reproductive feet. When mating, the male fish will put their genitals into the female fish's drainage hole, and then discharge sperm.

3. Production: It takes about one month for anchovies to mate and produce. When they produce, breeders need to prepare a separate container for them and ensure that their breeding environment is stable.

4. Small fish: Small fish do not need to be fed 3 days before birth, because they carry enough vitellotin for them to absorb for 2-3 days. When they have absorbed vitellotin, they can feed some digestible foods.
