Male guppies eat small guppies, not only male guppies eat small fish, but female guppies also eat small fish, and they eat small fish more seriously than male guppies. Because guppies have no habit of protecting small fish, and they are oviparous, after female fish give birth, their physical strength and energy will be exhausted, and they are in urgent need of food and nutrition to supplement their physical strength. If the breeder can't feed them enough food, they will catch small fish to satisfy their hunger. Compared with female fish, male fish prey on small fish less, but it also occurs when female fish produce. If breeders want to avoid guppy parent fish eating small fish, it is best to place a baffle with holes when they produce, which separates parent fish from small fish. You can also prepare a separate container to transfer the parent fish into the container.

1. Water temperature: Small guppies need a stable temperature to live normally, and breeders need to keep the water temperature at about 26 ℃, so that they can better adapt to the external environment.
