The fishes of the family Lampidae are oviparous, and most fishes are oviparous. They are all fertilized and developed in vitro. When the lantern fish breeds, the male fish and the female fish will pair first, and after successful pairing, they will chase each other. During the chase, the female fish will produce eggs, and the male fish will excrete sperm. At this time, the fish eggs become fertilized eggs, and after a few days of hatching, the fertilized eggs will become small fish, and at this time, even if the reproduction is completed. The daring of lamp fish is better. When breeding, the breeder needs to keep the surrounding environment quiet and avoid being frightened because of too much noise.

1. Breeding tank: Lamp fish need a separate environment when breeding, and breeders should first prepare a separate breeding tank for them. Some aquatic plants or brown silk can be put into the breeding tank, so that fish eggs can have a place to attach.

2. Breeding environment: When breeding lamp fish, breeders need to ensure that their water quality is weakly acidic, and install oxygen pumps, filters and heating rods in the breeding tank. The water temperature should be controlled at 21-22 ℃, the water quality should be kept clean and fresh, and the water should not be changed before reproduction is completed.

3. Quiet environment: Lantern fish are small fish with little courage. Breeders need to ensure that the environment around the breeding tank is quiet, so as not to affect their normal production.
