2. How to raise sapphire fish1. Water temperature: Although sapphire fish is tropical fish, the requirement for water temperature is not very high. Artificial breeding of sapphire fish can keep the water temperature between 20-28 ℃. Although they have certain cold resistance, it is not recommended to keep them at low temperature for a long time, which may affect their activity.
2. Water quality: Sapphire fish have low requirements for water quality, and they can live in weak acid, weak base and neutral water. When rearing artificially, the PH value can be kept at about 7.0. They prefer new water, and breeders can change water 1-2 times a week, and the amount of water change each time is controlled at one third of the total water volume.
3. Feeding: Sapphire fish are omnivorous fish, and they prefer some animal feed. Breeders can usually feed them more live bait, such as bumper shrimp, water fleas, water lice, silk earthworms, etc., and can also feed them some lean meat, animal viscera and other foods, which can ensure adequate nutrition during their growth and development.
