Arowana, koi, parrot fish, pearl fish and lucky cat fish are generally raised together in turtle and fish mix. Polyculture of fish and turtles is usually not recommended, because all turtles that can be raised are water turtles, which are omnivorous animals and fish are one of their foods, so polyculture has certain risks. The reason for choosing some large fish is that these fish can form a deterrent to turtles and thus avoid being attacked by them.

1. Pig-nosed turtle: Pig-nosed turtle is a deep-water turtle. Although it is also an omnivorous turtle, adult turtles prefer plants to fish, so they can be mixed with fish. However, from the appearance, it is quite different from common turtles, and looks more like turtles.

2. Yellow-headed side-necked turtle: Yellow-headed side-necked turtle belongs to aquatic turtle and feeds on plants, so it can also be mixed with fish. This kind of turtle is suitable for growing in the environment of 22-30 ℃. If it is raised artificially, it is best to feed fruits and vegetables, and at the same time, it should be matched with other animal feeds to supplement nutrition.

3. Razor tortoise: Razor tortoise is a kind of musk tortoise. Its temperament is gentle. As long as it is not mixed with small fish, it generally does not harm them. However, it must be raised from an early age, because the little razor turtle is very curious, and even if it can't eat fish, it will bite them. Pay attention to feeding at ordinary times, and it is not easy to attack fish when you are full.
