The frequency of goldfish laying eggs is not high, and they can only lay eggs once a year, so the second spawning needs to be separated by one year. Of course, this is only most goldfish, and there are also a small number of goldfish, which can lay eggs 1-3 times a year. But this situation is not very common, and the interval between years is not fixed. Some goldfish can't lay eggs within one day, so they will lay eggs continuously for 2 days, and some will produce intermittently. Goldfish production is mostly from 4 am to 10 am, and some will start at night.
2. How to deal with goldfish after laying eggs1. Fish eggs: If the eggs produced by goldfish have been fertilized, the breeder needs to transfer the eggs to a separate container for hatching. When hatching, the water temperature should be kept at about 25 ℃, so that they can hatch faster and hatch successfully in about 2-3 days. If goldfish lay eggs without male fertilization, then fish eggs cannot become fertilized eggs, let alone hatch small fish. The breeder can fish out the fish eggs directly and throw them away, or let the parent fish eat the fish eggs directly.
2. Parent fish: Goldfish need to be isolated immediately after production to prevent them from eating fertilized eggs as food. In addition, breeders should feed them more high-nutrition foods, which will help them recover their physical strength quickly. After they recover for a few days, they can be put back into the original tank for breeding.
