Keep the environment stable: Goldfish head down may be caused by too much environmental change. When rearing in captivity, it is necessary to keep their living environment stable and avoid goldfish being stimulated. Clean up blisters: It is also possible that they have tail scalding. Breeders need to clean up blisters on their tails and then apply erythromycin ointment. Lower the water level and raise the water temperature: It is also possible that you have swim bladder disorder, and the breeder needs to raise the water temperature first and then lower the water level.
What is the reason for goldfish head down and how to treat it 1. Keep the environment stable

1. Reason: Goldfish head down may be caused by too much water exchange or too large temperature difference. Although they have low requirements for the environment, they are sensitive to environmental changes. If the temperature or quality of the water they live in changes too much, it will lead to stress reaction, and head-down is one of the more common reactions.

2. Solution: Breeders need to keep the water temperature constant. If conditions permit, it is recommended to install a heating rod to avoid temperature difference. Usually, the frequency of changing water should not be too high, about 1-2 times a week. The amount of water changed each time should not be too large, and it should be controlled at one third of the total amount of water.

2. Clean up blisters

1. Reason: Goldfish head down may also be caused by scalding tail, and the main reason for scalding tail is that the water temperature on the upper layer is too high. This kind of situation usually happens in spring and summer, especially when the sun is strong in summer.

2. Solution: The breeder needs to fish out the goldfish first, and then clean the blisters on their tails with hands or needles. Finally, apply some anti-inflammatory drugs such as erythromycin ointment to them.

3. Lower the water level and raise the water temperature

1. Reason: Goldfish may also suffer from swim bladder disorder with its head down, which is congenital and acquired. Congenital is mainly due to genetic inheritance, while acquired is that the water temperature is too low or stimulated.

2. Solution: Breeders need to raise the water temperature to about 25 ℃ first, and then lower the water level to reduce their handstand. Finally, keep their living environment comfortable and wait for them to recover by themselves.
