Mickey fish is born with small larvae, and their reproduction mode is quite special. They are oviparous fish. When they reproduce, the male fish will put their genitals into the female fish's vent hole to complete fertilization, so Mickey fish is fertilized and developed in vivo. After they mature in the mother, the mother fish will produce them, so Mickey fish gives birth to small fish. Although it looks like viviparous, Mickey fish does not have a placenta, and small fish do not rely on maternal nutrition to complete their development. Moreover, those developed by vitellotin carried by themselves have no great connection with female fish.
2. How to reproduce Mickey fish1. Prepare parent fish: Mickey fish can develop and mature about 5-6 months after birth. Breeders need to select mature parent fish, then put them together and let them pair themselves.
2. Prepare breeding environment: Breeders need to prepare a separate breeding environment for them, keep the water temperature between 25-27 ℃, and keep the water quality clean and refreshing.
3. Mating: After oestrus, male Mickey fish will constantly chase female fish, and if female fish accept the pursuit of male fish, they will mate. Mickey fish reproduce in a special way. They are fertilized and developed in vivo.
4. Production: The female fish will give birth about one month after the successful mating of Mickey fish, and they will directly produce small fish. After they are produced, they need to be fished out immediately to avoid being swallowed by parent fish.
