Siraitia grosvenorii is the most primitive species of Siraitia grosvenorii. Their body color is monotonous, and most of them are cyan, electro-optic or other monochromatic. Their bodies are strong and square, and the ends of dorsal and ventral fins extend to caudal fins.

There are many kinds of Siraitia grosvenorii in Jinhua strain, among which rainbow Siraitia grosvenorii, red horse Siraitia grosvenorii and magic color Siraitia grosvenorii all belong to Jinhua strain. Most of the eyes of this strain of Siraitia grosvenorii are blue and gold. Compared with Siraitia grosvenorii, they have more colors and clearer and more beautiful textures.

Pearl strain Siraitia grosvenorii is more common now, and their genes are relatively stable compared with other Siraitia grosvenorii. Moreover, their reproduction difficulty is relatively low. The common lucky strike Siraitia grosvenorii, Red Diamond Siraitia grosvenorii and Blue Diamond Siraitia grosvenorii all belong to pearl strains.

Maxim strain of Siraitia grosvenorii was first born in Malaysia and is an improved strain from original Siraitia grosvenorii. Most of the colors are red before gold, but the sequins on the body are different, some are as fine as hair, some are punctate, and some are wide. They are square in size, with the characteristics of both golden flower and pearl.

Desasse strains are easier to identify because they are cross-bred and improved strains of Texas leopard and original desasse. This strain of Siraitia grosvenorii is not common in the market, so the price is relatively high.
