Although they belong to the middle fish, it doesn't mean that they won't move in the upper or lower layers. Some colorful fairy fish will move in the upper layers after training.

Colorful fairy fish like weakly acidic water, and it is best to keep the PH value between 6.2 and 6.8. Because their origin is the Amazon River basin, because there are many rotten leaves in the waters where they live, the water where they live becomes weakly acidic. Therefore, when raising colorful fairy fish artificially, the water quality should be adjusted to be weakly acidic.

But most of the tap water used now is weakly alkaline, so it is best for breeders to test it in advance when changing water for them. If the water is weakly alkaline, it can be adjusted with oxalic acid. In addition, tap water contains more chlorine, which will affect their health if used directly. Breeders need to be exposed to the sun for 2-3 days before using colorful fairy fish.
