In normal breeding, zebrafish will not eat aquatic plants. Although they are not picky about food, they prefer animal feed. When raising artificially, they can be fed more abundant shrimp, red worms, silk earthworms, yellow mealworms, bread worms and other foods. If food is scarce, they will also eat aquatic plants. However, they will only take aquatic plants as food to satisfy their hunger, and will not take aquatic plants as their staple food.
2. How to raise zebrafish1. Water temperature: Zebrafish belongs to tropical fish and likes higher water temperature. When raising artificially, it is best to keep the water temperature at about 26 ℃. If conditions permit, a heating rod can be installed to keep the water temperature constant.
2. Water quality: Zebrafish does not have strict requirements on water quality. When reared artificially, they can grow well as long as the water quality is clean.
3. Feeding: As mentioned above, zebrafish is an omnivorous fish and can eat many kinds of food. Breeders can feed with a variety of foods, which can not only ensure their food is sufficient, but also ensure their nutritional balance.
4. Change water: Zebrafish like old water, so the frequency of changing water does not need to be too high. When raising artificially, it is ok to change the water once a week. If there is a filter, you can change the water once every 1-2 weeks according to the water quality.
