The traffic light fish are lower fish, and they all live underwater when they are in the wild. Because they are afraid of strong light, they live underwater most of the time. Artificially raised traffic light fish also live at the bottom of fish tanks.
Although they are lower fish, they don't just live in the lower layer, they only live in the lower layer for a longer time. Moreover, in order to improve the ornamental value, many breeders will plant aquatic plants or other aquatic plants at the bottom of the fish tank, so that the activity area of traffic light fish will become the middle layer of the fish tank.
2. How to raise traffic light fish1. Water temperature: Traffic light fish are tropical fish and like higher water temperature. When raising artificially, it is necessary to keep the water temperature between 22-26 ℃. If conditions permit, it is recommended to install heating rods to keep the water temperature in a stable state.
2. Water quality: Traffic light fish have strict requirements on water quality. They like weak acidic soft water. When rearing artificially, it is best to keep the PH value between 5.8 and 6.8. If the water quality is hard, it can be boiled and used. Distilled water can also be used if conditions permit.
3. Feeding: Traffic light fish are omnivorous animals, and breeders can choose a variety of foods to feed together. Foods suitable for them to eat include shrimp eggs, red worms, water fleas, silk earthworms, tadpoles and so on.
