Whether map fish need to be oxygenated all the time depends on the feeding density. If the feeding density is on the high side, it is recommended to be oxygenated all the time. Because the demand for oxygen of map fish is still relatively high, especially when the feeding density is on the high side, lack of oxygen will make their mood and body uncomfortable, so it is better to keep taking oxygen.

If the feeding density is not high or normal, you don't need to be oxygenated all the time. Because the amount of dissolved oxygen in the water is enough for them to absorb, breeders can take oxygen for several hours every day on cloudy days or when the air pressure is low.

Map fish should be warmed all the time. Because they are tropical fish, they like to live in water temperature between 24-26 ℃. Under normal circumstances, it needs to be heated all the time except in summer. Although they are relatively solid and can accept the water temperature between 20-30 ℃, the low water temperature will affect their growth and development. If the water temperature is lower than 18 ℃, they may die.

In addition, the temperature in most areas of China cannot be kept above 20 ℃ all the time, and the temperature difference between spring and autumn in most areas is still relatively large. When raising artificially, if you don't use a heating rod to keep the temperature constant, it is very likely that the map fish will die because of the large temperature difference.
