The lowest acceptable water temperature of map fish is 18-20 ℃. They belong to tropical fish, and the temperature in their origin is on the high side, so the living water temperature is also on the high side. When raising map fish at home, it is necessary to keep the water temperature above 22 ℃, so that they can grow and develop normally. If the water temperature is lower than 22 ℃, they will have loss of appetite and decreased activity, and long-term low temperature will also affect their normal growth. If the water temperature is lower than 20 ℃, they will stop eating and moving, and their resistance and immunity will also decline. If they grow at low temperature for a long time, they will increase the chance of getting sick. If the water temperature is lower than 18 ℃, there is a great possibility that they will die directly. Even if they don't die on the spot, they won't last long.
2. How much is the water temperature of map fish appropriateAs mentioned above, map fish is tropical fish, so it likes a higher water temperature. In artificial rearing, the water temperature can be kept between 22-30 ℃. If conditions permit, the water temperature can be kept between 24-26 ℃. Because their appetite and activity are the highest in this temperature range, their growth speed is also the fastest.
Although they are tropical fish, they can't adapt to too high water temperature. When raising map fish in summer, the water temperature should not exceed 30 ℃, otherwise they will have more discomfort.
