The mixed culture of fish and turtle is not very good. Turtles that can be mixed with fish can only be water turtles, because tortoises are not good at swimming and cannot always soak in water. Water turtles are mostly omnivorous turtles, and they like to eat meat. Fish is also one of their foods, so there is a certain risk in polyculture, which is likely to improve the food for turtles. However, not all turtles are not suitable for polyculture, if the fish are larger or vegetarian turtles are fine.
2. What should we pay attention to in fish and turtle polyculture1. Container: You can't use a simple fish tank for fish and turtle polyculture, because this tank can't provide a place for turtles to bask in their backs, so you need to buy a polyculture aquarium. Generally, this kind of aquarium is separated, so fish and turtles will not meet, so they can coexist harmoniously, and there will be no attack and swallowing.
2. Feeding: Because turtles and fish have different feeding habits and feed different things, fish should be fed every day, so that it can grow fast, but turtles can't be fed all the time, just once every three or five days. One thing is common, that is, the residual bait must be disposed of in time.
3. Water quality: Turtles and fish have basically the same requirements for water quality. If there is any difference, fish is generally the standard. After all, turtles can live ashore, while fish should stay in the water all the time. Usually, you can change the water once a week, because there are many polyculture water, so you don't need to change it too frequently.
