1. Constant water temperature: Arowana is very sensitive to environmental changes, and temperature difference is easy to occur when raising artificially. Especially for novice feeding, it is difficult to control the feeding temperature. It is suggested that breeders install a heating rod to keep the water temperature between 24-28 ℃, so as to avoid too large temperature difference affecting their normal life.
2. Clean water quality: Arowana has high requirements on water quality, and novice breeders need to ensure that their living water quality is clean. However, we should also pay attention not to change water too frequently, otherwise the fluctuation of water quality will also affect their health. Usually, you can change the water once a week, and you can change a quarter of it every time.
3. Reasonable feeding: Arowana likes to eat some live bait such as small fish, shrimp, loach and tadpole, and they eat a large amount, so many novice breeders will feed them a large amount of these foods. In fact, Arowana does not need to feed too much live bait. On the contrary, feeding too much live bait will cause fat accumulation, so breeders need to feed them reasonably according to the actual situation.
2. Do Arowana need lightsArowana need lights. When they grow in the wild, they all live in the upper waters. In order to simulate the wild environment in artificial breeding, it is best to install aquarium lights for them. When using the lights, they should not be flickered or turned on 24 hours a day, otherwise it will make Arowana uncomfortable.
