Turtles can live on land all the time, as long as they bubble in water at ordinary times. There are many kinds of turtles, which are usually allowed to be raised. These turtles are highly dependent on water, so they cannot leave the water for a long time. It is best to soak in water for artificial breeding, otherwise it may affect their health. However, some semi-water turtles have a certain terrestrial nature, and can live away from water. Occasionally, they can come into contact with some water.

1. Wood-grain turtle: Wood-grain turtle is a kind of semi-water turtle living in humid forest land. Although it can be raised on land, it has certain requirements on environmental humidity. This turtle's head is very small, and its feeding habits are miscellaneous. Because it needs a certain amount of water, it will find some plants with high water to supplement when it is short of water.

2. Yellow-fronted turtle: Yellow-fronted turtle likes to inhabit shallow water areas such as hills and mountains, and has a strong terrestrial tendency. It usually moves at the water's edge and is not good at swimming. This kind of turtle is very timid, so it is difficult to raise it. It is usually fed with meat, insects, fish and shrimp, and some green vegetables.

3. Saw-edge tortoise: Saw-edge tortoise lives in mountainous areas and can be seen in jungles, shrubs and other places. It is a kind of tortoise that likes to eat meat. This turtle is widely distributed in the southern part of China, which requires high temperature. It will hibernate when it is lower than 19 ℃, and it is afraid of cold.
