Silver arowana can be mixed, but it cannot be mixed with all fish. Fish suitable for mixed culture with silver arowana include map fish, parrot fish, ray fish, flying phoenix fish, pineapple fish and so on. 1. Can Arowana be polybred

Arowana can be polybred, but they are not suitable for polybred with all fish. Because of their large size and fierce personality, breeders need to choose fish of the same size to mix with them. Suitable for mixed fish with silver arowana are parrot fish, map fish, Thai tiger fish, flying phoenix fish, pineapple fish, rays and so on. The most suitable polyculture with them is map fish and parrot fish.

Map fish belong to medium-sized fish. Although they are gentle and lazy, their swimming posture and speed are relatively fast, which can avoid the attack of silver arowana. Moreover, they will lie lazily aside after eating and will not take the initiative to attack other fish.

Although parrot fish has certain aggressiveness, silver arowana is large in size and fierce in character, so parrot fish generally dare not take the initiative to attack.

2. What should be paid attention to in polyculture of Arowana

1. Food is sufficient: If other fish are polyculture with Arowana, food may be robbed. Breeders need to feed enough food to avoid fighting.

2. Adequate space: The fish mixed with Arowana are too large, so breeders need to prepare a larger container for them to ensure sufficient living space. Because Silver Arowana has a strong sense of territory, if there is not enough space, it will also attack other fish.
