1. Natural hatching: After laying eggs, Brazilian tortoises can choose natural hatching, which means that they do not need to take out eggs and use natural humidity and temperature to hatch. This hatching method is relatively simple, but the success rate of hatching is not high.
2. Artificial incubation: Breeders can also choose the way of artificial incubation, and a special incubator needs to be prepared for artificial incubation. Several layers of fine sand need to be placed in the incubator, and then eggs are placed on it. Each egg should be spaced 2-3 cm apart. Put the eggs and cover them with sand. Finally, spread sponge to moisturize. The temperature in the incubator should be kept between 22-33 ℃ and the humidity should be kept between 80% and 90%. When hatching, breeders need to spray water regularly to ensure that the surrounding environment is moist, and check with flashlights every day to avoid broken eggs. After about 50-60 days, the turtle can hatch successfully.
2. How to raise small tortoises1. Constant temperature: Newborn tortoises have poor adaptability to the environment, and breeders need to keep the water temperature between 25-30 ℃, so that they can adapt to the surrounding environment more quickly. If conditions permit, a heating rod can be installed to keep the water temperature constant.
2. Clean water quality: Little Brazilian tortoise is sensitive to environmental changes. If the water quality is not particularly poor, it can be changed once every 7 days or so. After they grow for a period of time, they can be raised according to the normal frequency of changing water.
3. Reasonable feeding: Little Brazilian tortoises will carry vitellotin when they are born, and breeders need to wait for them to absorb vitellotin before feeding food.
