If conditions permit, purified water can be used for breeding. But pure water is also processed and disinfected, so it should be dried for a period of time before use.

Crocodile turtles like to live in deep water. When they are farmed artificially, they can be raised in deep water. However, the suitable water level height of crocodile turtles in different stages is also different. Normally, crocodile turtles in their infancy need to be fed in shallow water level. It is best for breeders to keep the height of water level consistent with the height of their carapace.

In adulthood, the water level of crocodile turtles will also rise. At this time, keep the height of water level 2-3 times of the height of carapace. Although they can survive in deep water, the water level should not be too deep, otherwise they will choke.
