There are many varieties of crocodile turtles, and how many centimeters can reproduce is affected by varieties and feeding methods. The common species of crocodile turtles are crocodile turtles and small crocodile turtles. As the name implies, the size of crocodile turtles is too large. In order for them to reproduce, their body length must be at least 50 cm. The small crocodile turtle is small in size, and its body length only needs to reach 30-40 cm to breed.

In addition to the influence of varieties, the way of feeding also has great influence. If there is not enough room for breeding, but there is enough food and nutrition, they may not reach the body length of reproduction and will mature. Others are fed hormone-containing turtle food, and their body size grows too fast, but their organs are not yet mature. Therefore, breeders should not only judge by their body length and variety, but also by their living environment and the way they are raised.

When crocodile turtles breed, they will choose an open and soft land or sand, then dig a pit with their feet and lay eggs in it. After laying, they will cover the eggs with soil. After they lay eggs, the breeder needs to gently take their eggs out of the soil, clean them up, illuminate them one by one with a flashlight, select fertilized eggs, and put them into an incubator to hatch.

The temperature in the incubator can be kept at 28-30 ℃ and the humidity can be kept between 80%-90%. Wait for about 2 months, and the eggs will hatch crocodile turtle seedlings.
