Metal guppies are relatively easy to raise ornamental fish. Although they are improved varieties, ornamental is very high, but they are not particularly delicate. They do not require high water quality, and can be cultured with tap water that has been oxygenated and aired. They do not require high water temperature, and they can survive in water that is not very low.
1. Water temperature: Metal guppies are suitable for growing in water with a temperature of 22-26 ℃. If the water temperature is low, their appetite will decrease and their resistance will decrease accordingly. This is not good for their growth. Therefore, in winter, it is recommended to use heating rods to maintain water temperature, so as not to freeze them.
2. Water quality: They can be raised with tap water that has been oxygenated and aired. In order to maintain water quality, water needs to be changed about twice a week. They are a modified breed with a blue front. If the water quality is not good, the blue color will turn to black. When you see the blue on them turn black, you should pay attention to adjusting the water quality.
3. Feeding: Their appetite is not particularly large. They can be fed once a day. The amount of feeding should not be too large, so that they can eat all the feed within 10 minutes after feeding. Because they are omnivorous fish, it is recommended to feed them with red worms, nematodes, cucumbers, spinach, artificial fish food and other foods. This can provide them with a more complete nutritional supplement.
