The difficulty of raising monochrome guppies is not very high. Because they do not require high water quality, there is no picky eating problems, so it is easier to raise. However, when farming, we should pay attention to the fact that the water temperature must not change dramatically in a short time, otherwise they will not be able to adapt and have growth problems.
1. Water temperature: monochrome guppies are suitable for growing in water of 24-26 ℃. They do not like high temperature, if the water temperature is higher than 30 C for a long time, they will grow poorly. They have some tolerance to low temperatures, but if the water temperature is below 18 degrees Celsius for a long time, their growth rate will be reduced. If the water temperature is lower, they may get sick and die.
2. Water quality: Single color guppies like clean, no impurities, weak alkaline water with a certain concentration of dissolved oxygen. In general, the tap water that has been aired can be used as aquaculture water.
3. Water change: It is not necessary to change the water frequently when breeding the monochrome guppies. It is OK to change the water once or twice a week. Every time you change the water, don't change all the water, only about one third of it.
4, feeding: monochrome guppy can eat a lot of food, such as artificial fish food, red worms, nematodes, water fleas, spinach, cucumber and so on. When feeding, it is recommended to choose a combination of several foods to feed them, which can provide them with more comprehensive nutrition and make them grow better.
