The glass guppy is an improved guppy species. Because its belly is transparent, careful observation can see the viscera directly through the skin, so it is named glass guppy. Although its ornamental value is very high, its breeding difficulty is not very high. As long as they are carefully maintained and provide a suitable environment, they can be well maintained.
1. Fish tank: When raising a glass guppy, you can use an ordinary glass fish tank or an acrylic glass fish tank. If there are conditions, you can also use super white fish tank to raise. When the number of aquaculture is small, small fish tanks can be used. However, if the number of aquaculture is large, it is recommended to use large fish tanks. The breeding density should not be too high, otherwise it is not conducive to their growth.
2. Water quality: When breeding glass guppies, you need to use clean, weakly alkaline water with low hardness. If conditions permit, it is recommended to install a filter device in the water tank to maintain clean water quality. Changing the water is recommended twice a week. If you have a filter device, you don't need to change the water frequently, just once a week.
3. Feeding: Generally, guppies can be fed with guppy food. Because the nutrition in this fish food is very suitable for glass guppies. Occasionally, some red worms and dried shrimp can be fed to increase nutrition. Feeding is usually once a day, and two or three times a day when raising young fish.
