Musk turtles don't grow fast. They can only grow about 0.3 cm a month and about 4 cm a year. Because they are small in size as adults, only about 8-14 cm long, their growth rate is relatively slow compared with other turtles. If they are kept in a suitable environment and have enough food, they can grow up to 5 cm a year. If the living environment is poor and food is scarce, they will grow slower and some will stop growing.

2. Feeding: Breeders need to feed musk turtles if they want them to grow rapidly. Breeders can usually feed more animal feeds, such as small fish, shrimp, red worms, snails, tadpoles, lean meat and other foods, so as to ensure adequate nutrition for their growth and development.
