To raise fish well in small fish tanks, we must first keep good filtering, which has great influence on the health of fish. Usually, the filtering equipment used in small fish tanks is upper filtering, which has the advantages of convenient installation and cleaning, but the filtering effect is not particularly excellent, but because there is not much water, it can ensure good circulation.

Besides filtration, changing water is also particularly important. Usually, it takes five to seven days to change water, and each time you change water, you can't change too much, preferably no more than one third of the total amount. In addition, you must be careful when changing water. You need to pump out the old water from the tank before injecting new water. The new water should be slowly mixed in from the tank wall.

Because the fish tank is not large, the fish raised are relatively small in size and small in number. In this case, special attention must be paid to feeding. Usually, you can feed it two or three times a day. If the number of times is more, the dosage should be less each time. It is best to ensure that it is eaten within 3-5 minutes, so that it is not easy to break the water and the fish will not break their stomachs.

If the fish raised in the small fish tank is tropical fish, the temperature should also be well controlled. Usually, the water temperature should be kept above 20 ℃, preferably around 24 ℃. At this temperature, fish is not easy to get sick, and it can also promote its metabolism, thus accelerating its growth.
