Flame tortoises do not bite under normal circumstances. Flame tortoises are mild in temperament, will not attack people, and generally will not bite people, unless the breeder keeps them improperly. Therefore, water must be changed regularly during maintenance, once or twice a week.

The flame tortoise does not bite other tortoises. Because Flame Turtle is very friendly to other ornamental turtles, it will not bite other turtles in general. But try not to mix them, because some other ornamental tortoises, such as the Brazilian tortoise, are irascible. If they are mixed together, the flame turtle will probably be bitten.

If you want to mix all kinds of turtles, you need to put a glass plate in the turtle jar to separate them so as not to fight with each other. They also need to be fed enough food to avoid fighting over food.
