The body length of the white-lipped mud turtle will be about 15-17 cm in adulthood. They are not big, because they are medium-sized turtles, and even when they are adults, their body length will not exceed 20 cm. Different sexes of white-lipped mud turtles are also different in size. Normally, males are larger than females. The male will be 17.4 cm long and the female will be 15.8 cm long. In addition to gender and different ways of feeding, their body development will be different. If the breeding environment is comfortable, their body length will be larger. If the breeding environment is harsh, their size will be smaller.

1. Container: The white-lipped mud turtle does not require high space, and the breeder can use glass fish tank or other aquarium to raise it. They live in an environment where there should be both water and land, and some green plants should be placed. Breeders need to build a balcony for them in the container, and then plant some aquatic plants to make them grow healthier.

2. Feeding: White-lipped mud turtle is an omnivorous animal, which can eat many kinds of food, but prefers animal feed. Breeders can feed them more insects, fish, shrimp, shellfish, snails and other foods, and usually match some vegetables and fruits to ensure food diversity.

3. Sunbathing: White-lipped mud turtles like sunbathing. Frequent sunbathing can effectively kill bacteria on their cartilage, enhance calcium absorption and avoid cartilage or rot.
