When raising fish for the first time, you must not only pay attention to the fish, but also look at the situation of the tank and water. For the new fish tank, it is necessary to open the tank and disinfect it with potassium permanganate to ensure the safety of the fish tank. After that, it is necessary to raise water. In addition to trapping water and filtering, it is necessary to cultivate nitrifying bacteria and establish a good nitrification system.
2. Change water regularlyAlthough fish are small, the requirements for water quality are not low, so it is necessary to change water regularly to ensure its healthy growth. Usually, it should be changed every five to seven days, about a quarter of each time. If too much water is changed, the new water may stimulate the fish, produce stress reaction, and even cause the fish to die, so it is necessary to control the water quantity.
3. Pay attention to temperatureFish, as temperature-changing animals, have poor adaptability to temperature changes, especially small fish. The temperature must be well controlled. If the water temperature changes suddenly, it will also affect their health. For tropical fish, you can use a heating rod to control the temperature. For wide-temperature fish, you only need to ensure that the temperature is not too low, and don't put the fish tank in the sun.
4. Control the appetiteFish has a small appetite. If it is fed too much, it will not only fail to eat, but also pollute the water body and affect its health. Therefore, it is very important to control food intake. Usually, it can be fed two or three times a day. After each feeding, it is necessary to ensure that the fish finish eating within 3-5 minutes. If there is residual bait, it is best to clean it in time to avoid deterioration of water quality.
