The rat fish can reproduce after being cultured for about 2 years. After they lay eggs and are fertilized, the breeder needs artificial hatching. When hatching, the breeder needs to separate the fish eggs from the parent fish. If the fish eggs stick to the fish tank or sunken wood, the breeder needs to suck them out with a straw. If they stick to the fish tank, they need to be gently scraped off with a knife. After the fish eggs are collected, the breeder can pick out the unfertilized fish eggs and put the fertilized fish eggs into the hatching tank.
When the eggs of rats and fish hatch, the breeder needs to keep the water temperature between 24-26 ℃ and keep the water neutral. During this period, a small amount of water should be changed to keep the water quality clean. In addition, breeders need to keep enough oxygen during hatching. Fish eggs can hatch successfully in about 2-3 days in a comfortable environment.
Successful hatching fish do not need to be fed for the first 3 days, because they have not absorbed all the vitellotin they carry from their mothers. Breeders can wait for them to move freely, and then try to feed some good-year shrimp eggs, cooked egg yolks and other foods.
2. How long does it take for rodents and fish eggs to hatchThe hatch time of rodents and fish eggs is affected by many factors, among which the water temperature is the most influential. The higher the water temperature, the faster the hatch time. However, the maximum water temperature should not exceed 26 ℃, otherwise it will also affect their hatching rate. In addition, water quality and dissolved oxygen also have certain influence on hatching time, so breeders had better pay special attention to it.
