Scavenger will suffer from listlessness and decreased activity before death. When you die, you will lie prone on the bottom of the cylinder or suck motionless on the wall of the cylinder, and only your mouth and gills will open and close to breathe. After death, the mouth and gills will stop moving, and the fish will face up and then float to the water. Breeders had better fish out the scavengers in time for isolation treatment when they find them lying on the vat or motionless, so the possibility of recovery is still very high.

There are many causes of death of scavengers. The common one is that the water temperature is too low. Many people think that scavengers are easy to raise, so they will not deliberately control the water temperature, resulting in lower water temperature and gradual death of scavengers.

There is also hunger and death. When feeding food, breeders only consider ornamental fish and do not prepare food for scavengers. When scavengers clean up the algae in the fish tank, they will die because of lack of food. Breeders can see if the dead scavenger has a flat stomach.

In addition, scavengers may die because they eat too much dirty things. For example, if breeders feed too much, the food residues that can't be eaten will deteriorate in water for a long time. If the deteriorated food is eaten by scavengers, they will be poisoned or enteritis, which will lead to death after a long time.
