Tennis shrimp is a relatively large ornamental shrimp. After adulthood, the male shrimp can grow to a length of about 10 cm, and the female shrimp can grow to a length of 6-8 cm. Some of the larger individuals can even grow to a length of about 14 cm. When you breed them, you can't breed them in a tank that's too small, or they won't grow so big because of the environmental conditions.
The life span of tennis shrimp is about 1-2 years, and in most cases they can only live for more than one year. Only when the breeding conditions are suitable, can they live longer. If the farming conditions are poor and can not meet their survival needs, their life span will be shorter. Therefore, in the actual breeding time, it is recommended to adjust the water temperature, and timely feeding food to ensure that they can grow normally.
When breeding the net ball shrimp, it is recommended to adjust the water temperature to 22-25 ℃, which is more suitable for their growth. They don't like cold water. If the water temperature is too low when they are cultured, they will not grow properly and their food intake will be greatly reduced. If the water temperature is very low, they may be frozen to death. Therefore, when raising it in winter, we should pay attention to keeping warm. If you have the conditions, you can use heating rods to keep them warm.
